Steven Bird aka Mr Bird is a musician, DJ and producer from Newcastle (UK) and has been living in Lisbon (PT) for the last 9 years. He has released 4 studio albums and several singles. Mr Bird is a much sought after remixer and has done over 100 remixes for different artists & bands.
At the beginning of 2018 he released a hot & fiery EP on Matasuna Records which got some heavy rotation by radio shows around the globe and support by countless well known DJs & Artists. In February 2018 Matasuna Records called all producers & remixers to join the first label remix contest and create their own & unique version of 'Dance Away' - the title track of the EP with Chief Commander Yaaba on vocals.
There have been a number of great remixes so the jury (Mr. Bird and Matasuna label head Alex SoulBrigada) had to make a difficult decision to choose the four winners. In the end they picked varied versions ranging from Deep House, Funk Breaks, Disco and Future Jazz. Enjoy this great EP!
